SHIBUYA METAL KAI pre. 渋谷メタル会フェス 2026
Shibuya's metal heart explodes: a full-day sonic assault.
The Show
Forget your usual Shibuya crawl; this is an all-day commitment to pure, unadulterated metal mayhem. Expect the floor to be a constant sea of headbanging and circle pits, fueled by a crowd that lives and breathes every riff. It's loud, it's sweaty, and it's exactly what you need.
The Artists
From the legendary raw power of GASTUNK and the sheer entertainment of SEX MACHINEGUNS to the deep sonic explorations of KANDARIVAS, this lineup is a masterclass in Japanese heavy. You’ve got everything from THE冠’s signature blend to the crushing intensity of bands like Graupel and VICTIMOFDECEPTION, plus fierce acts like HAGANE and Broken By The Scream shaking things up. Seriously, it's a marathon of pure talent.
The Area
Shibuya's always a mad dash, but stepping off the train and heading towards Garret just feels right for a day like this. Grab a quick bite from one of the ramen spots near Dogenzaka or a coffee to steel yourself for the chaos; you'll need the energy. It's the perfect district for a massive metal gathering—the energy on the streets bleeds right into the venues.
