SALAD DAYS vol.400 after party
Post-Salad Days, Bushbash unleashes raw, unhinged sonic energy.
The Show
You've just witnessed another legendary Salad Days, and now it's time to shed the last bits of pretension. Bushbash after-parties are where the real magic happens: expect a spontaneous, no-holds-barred sonic explosion, fueled by cheap beer and pure, unadulterated punk spirit. It's sweaty, it's loud, and it's exactly what you need to keep the night truly alive.
The Artists
The names on the bill might seem like a grab-bag, but that's exactly the beauty of a Bushbash after-party. Expect unexpected collaborations and uninhibited sets from scene veterans like Yamamoto Hisato and Nobuki Nishiyama alongside newer forces like emptyspace, whose name alone hints at expansive, perhaps unsettling, soundscapes. With "&more" teasing surprise guests, this lineup promises a night of experimental dives and raw, unadulterated jams, far from any setlist constraints.
The Area
Koiwa might feel like a world away, but that's precisely its charm; stepping off the Chuo Line feels like entering a different era, with narrow alleys packed with no-frills izakayas and lively locals. Grab some cheap yakitori and a chuhai from one of the countless spots under the tracks – my usual is a tiny place down the street from the station. This unpretentious, real Tokyo vibe makes Koiwa and Bushbash the perfect match for raw, honest music that doesn't care for Shibuya's polish.
