RAY presents「IDOL SHOEGAZE」
Idols + shoegaze: Tokyo's dreamiest, loudest fusion hits Shinjuku MARZ.
The Show
Forget everything you thought you knew about idols. This is where the shimmering, reverb-drenched soundscapes of shoegaze collide with the raw energy of Tokyo's underground idol scene. Expect a blissful, loud evening that blurs genres and melts faces, attracting a crowd ready to sway and scream in equal measure.
The Artists
While the full lineup is still under wraps, expect RAY to deliver their signature blend of shimmering vocals and guitar-driven euphoria. Given the theme, prepare for a curated bill of acts pushing the boundaries of idol music, infusing their sets with washes of reverb and fuzzy guitars. It’s a chance to catch the next wave of genre-bending talent before they explode.
The Area
Kabukicho, love it or hate it, is undeniably the pulse of Shinjuku's nightlife, and MARZ sits right in the thick of it. Before diving into the shoegaze haze, grab some killer ramen or yakitori just a block away, soaking in the neon glow and buzzing energy. It's a proper Tokyo rite of passage – navigating the crowds to find your noise, then emerging back into the dazzling chaos.
