OBST
Raw power, punishing sound systems, and Koiwa's best dive bar.
The Show
OBST nights at Bushbash are never for the faint of heart. Expect a full-frontal sonic assault, a packed room, and the kind of cathartic energy that only a true underground dive can deliver. This is where the ceiling sweats and inhibitions melt away.
The Artists
This lineup promises a relentless sonic journey, from the pulverizing force of GIGAS to the overwhelming waves of Tsunami Sound System. Shilus brings an edge of experimental chaos, while TYPE-O RISK SYSTEM YPF will likely unravel complex, machine-driven soundscapes that push boundaries. Prepare for an auditory challenge.
The Area
Koiwa might feel a bit off the beaten path, but that's its charm. Grab a cheap beer and yakitori at one of the countless old-school izakayas under the tracks before you head to Bushbash; it's the perfect warmup for the raw energy inside. This neighborhood still feels genuinely Tokyo, untouched by the usual gloss, making it a perfect home for vital underground sounds.
