KITASHINJUKU HARDCORE
Nakano Moonstep explodes with raw, uncompromising Kitashinjuku hardcore energy.
The Show
Moonstep is practically synonymous with the kind of intense, no-frills hardcore that leaves you buzzing long after the last chord. Expect a packed floor, stage dives, and that signature collective energy only this scene delivers. It's a night to lose yourself in pure, unadulterated Tokyo underground power.
The Artists
This bill packs a serious punch, from the relentless assault you'd expect from PIGMEN to the chaotic energy that names like BLONDnewHALF and ぐうたら狂 suggest. Expect a spectrum of raw, no-nonsense hardcore acts like HIMO, NK6, and ABOS, all geared to keep the pit churning. Even the more intriguing names like ☆HISATAKA☆ and Buenos Caminos are sure to deliver that full-throttle Moonstep intensity.
The Area
Nakano is just one of those neighborhoods that hums with genuine Tokyo life, a perfect blend of old-school charm and underground cool. Before diving into the Moonstep chaos, grab a cheap, delicious bite at one of the countless ramen shops around the station or snag a beer from a konbini for a quick street-side pre-game. It's easy to get to, and the slightly off-the-main-drag vibe of Moonstep itself makes it feel like you've truly stumbled onto something special.
