GUNIWFUL2026
Koenji HIGH unleashes an uncompromising night of rhythmic invention.
The Show
This isn't a night for polite head-bobbing; expect a relentless, full-body sonic assault that drills deep into your chest. Koenji HIGH will be vibrating with a dedicated crowd ready to lose themselves in every intricate beat and subterranean rumble. It's a proper sweatbox experience where the music takes over.
The Artists
The names Dr:Daiko and Bass:Hase alone tell you this lineup is built on a formidable rhythmic foundation, ready to anchor the night with surgical precision and earth-shattering grooves. They're the kind of rhythm section that makes you feel every note in your bones, while Shilfee Little Known promises an enigmatic front, perhaps weaving intricate guitar lines or delivering vocals that cut through the sonic landscape. Prepare for a performance where every musician is a master.
The Area
Koenji is always a proper journey, stepping off the Chuo Line into that distinct blend of vintage grit and DIY charm. Before the show at HIGH, grab some yakitori at a back-alley izakaya or sink a quick nama-beer at one of the countless tiny bars lining the shotengai — it's where the neighborhood truly comes alive. This part of Tokyo just gets live music, fostering a raw, unpretentious energy you won't find anywhere else.
