Shimokita's Shelter hosts Akabane Vulgars' raw 7-inch "Homecoming" release!

The Show

Prepare for a high-octane rock explosion at Shelter as Akabane Vulgars celebrate their new 7-inch, "Homecoming." These midday gigs at Shimokita's legendary spot are always packed with die-hards, eager to soak up every riff. Expect a proper sweat-drenched send-off for this fresh vinyl.

The Artists

Akabane Vulgars on Strong Bypass are a name that just *sounds* like classic Shimokita garage-punk, ready to tear the roof off Shelter with their "Homecoming" release. Expect their signature blend of raw energy and hook-filled aggression. Opening act リハビリたち (Rehabilitation-tachi) promises an intriguing sonic journey, likely to get your blood pumping before the main event.

The Area

Shimokitazawa, for those who truly know Tokyo, isn't just a district—it's a vibe. Before the midday show, grab a killer coffee from Bear Pond Espresso or browse the vintage racks at one of the countless thrift stores that give this neighborhood its soul. It's a district built on independent spirit and live music, making Shelter the perfect concrete box for a release like this.
