Wasshoi Doremi Matsuri at Cyclone: your headbang quota, sorted.
The Show
Get ready to throw down at Cyclone for the 6th Wasshoi Doremi Matsuri. Expect the room to be a pressure cooker of thumping drums and screaming guitars, packed with a crowd that knows how to move. It’s an essential night for anyone looking to let loose and feel the raw energy of Shibuya’s heaviest.
The Artists
The lineup is a brutal masterclass: おはようございます kicks off the morning, probably with a crushing wall of sound rather than pleasantries. Naked Identity Created by King brings their unique, intense blend of whatever-they-are-called to the stage, while DOPEDOWN promises exactly what it sounds like – heavy, head-nodding riffs. SIAN rounds out the night, ensuring you leave thoroughly rattled.
The Area
Shibuya after dark is its own beast, and Cyclone is right in the thick of it, just a short walk past the chaos of Center Gai. Before diving into the pit, grab some quick bites at a standing izakaya in Dogenzaka or hit up one of the countless ramen shops for fuel. This area lives and breathes live music, drawing a constant stream of energy that makes every show feel like a vital part of the city’s pulse.
