Autumn is touring season in Tokyo. Between late October and the end of November, a run of overseas bands play the city's live houses, mostly on bills shared with local bands, which is half the reason to go.

Listings change, so check the show page (or the venue's own site) before you go. Getting in
Most of these sell advance tickets through the touring promoter's page or a ticket platform rather than the venue. The listing says which. Some tours have a separate page for buyers who live outside Japan. For the smaller local-bill shows, you usually reserve a spot on the venue's advance list instead. Bring cash. Expect a drink ticket (usually ¥500–700) on top of the ticket price at the door.
