About

Diedro los Diablos have been grinding it out of Nagoya since 2004, playing a volatile mix of crossover thrash, metalcore, and sludge metal. The band's early lineup — vocalists T.K and U.X.I, guitarists Lyuzi and Yosuke, bassist Tomokiyo, and drummer Shimakoro — released Hymns for Infernal Destruction in 2005, a debut that landed them on Metal Archives and established their reputation in the Nagoya heavy underground. The band went dormant from 2012 to 2014, but returned with a significantly reshuffled lineup. The current five-piece features U.X.I on vocals (the sole holdover), guitarists Ryuji and Kiyotaka, bassist Nov, and drummer 4056. In November 2023 they dropped two singles — MERCY and TACO — distributed through TuneCore Japan and available on Spotify and Apple Music. Lyrical themes center on violence, Satan, and nightmares. Diedro los Diablos remain unsigned and independent, operating in the Nagoya scene that has long produced heavy, uncompromising bands outside the Tokyo spotlight. They are listed on Metal Archives, Discogs, and Spirit of Metal, and maintain an active Instagram presence.
