0.001DAY
Tokyo 'short cut' chaotic hardcore â every song under two minutes, no exceptions.
About
0.001DAY (read as POINT ZERO ZERO ONE DAY) is a Tokyo chaotic hardcore band with a single, non-negotiable rule: no song exceeds two minutes. They call it 'short cut' chaotic hardcore, and they mean it. The constraint is the identity â everything is compressed, volatile, and over before you can settle in. Their debut album TWO MINUTES MAN dropped in 2020, packing 15 tracks into roughly 20 minutes. Song titles like Accelerator, BOMB SAY, Insomnia, and Unbalance give you the general temperature. A single, Kill The Virus, followed in January 2021, clocking in at 1 minute 40 seconds. Their most recent release is the album Eleven, which got a release show at Otsuka MEETS as part of their recurring 'Like downpour' event series. Information about individual members is scarce â this is a band that lets the noise do the talking. They maintain an active web presence across platforms and continue to gig in Tokyo's underground hardcore circuit.
